I left NYC July 31st, 2010 with this NYCBikes City Fixed (flip-flop hub with a freewheel installed, no fixed gear cog. Lots more photos here). I got my hours cut at work. Rather than work from home, I worked from friends homes. I got rid of my stuff, packed up some clothes, my laptop and tooth brush and hit the road.
After seven months of adventure and Greyhound Buses, I made it to Austin, TX. I’ve been on the road almost nine months now, still bouncing around. I saved some money, quit my job and these days I’m biking around New York City quite a bit on my new bike.
Now, I’m giving this bike away.

INFO ON THE BIKE:
Stand over height is about 33″ – I’m 5’9″ and it’s a snug fit. Gearing is 48-17. Yes, that’s a Carbon Fiber fork. She’s got some rust on the stem bolts, nothing major.
